It is important that you read the terms and conditions on this page thoroughly and with understanding. I reserve the right to adjust these conditions at any time and you agree to be obligated by such adjustments. Your deposit or blog payment serves as your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement and your use of the services shall be regarded as a consent to this agreement. This agreement is legally binding.
Design Process, Changes, and Cancellation: During the design process, you have total supervision over your digital art choices and design. I will send a preview for your approval before acquiring them. I will also send previews of your completed design. The package price includes up to three revisions (changing the header, rearranging background pages, trying different fonts, etc.). After three revisions, additional work will be billed at $25 per hour. Designs are sold as a final piece after payment is received. I will only add additional changes for the added $25 per hour. If you decide not to purchase your design at any point in the process, you forfeit your initial deposit.
Design Time: As a full-time teacher and mommy, I can only complete a couple of designs per week. My initial quoted work time is based on your prompt response. I will sometimes receive several requests in the same day. I will work, however, in the order of which I have received paid deposits and returned questionnaires. While you are deciding how to respond, other designs may move ahead of yours on my “wish” list and delay your quoted work time. If you miss your scheduled work date (due to not approving an art set, failing to reply to my email, etc.), you will be moved to the bottom of my wait list.
Design Payment: You have 14 days after receiving your final design preview to pay your remaining balance so I can install your design. After 14 days, I reserve the right to modify your custom design and offer it as a pre-made template.
Credit Link: During installation, I will place a small image, link, and text credit in the footer of your blog. You agree not to remove or alter these in any way. Removal of my credit requires removal of all design elements.
Design Modifications: My logo is on your blog and it becomes part of my brand and portfolio; therefore changes to the graphics or overall design are not allowed. (Examples include but are not limited to: purchasing a complete design and then using your own header, modification of any of the graphics, using an alternate background). If you want to make changes to your blog design, please remove my graphics first as your blog package is sold as a complete unit. This condition does not prevent you from adding widgets to your blog, changing the default text colors, or otherwise using the template designer to adjust your settings. You simply may not mix and match my design work with any others. Copyright: Designs should not be altered or re-used in any manner. I retain the copyright to the html code, template design, and overall layout. You are granted a single use license only. My work may not be duplicated or sold at any time.
Customer Communication Responsibility: Designing your blog depends on communication with you. If you wait more than 14 days to respond to my email at any point in the process, your design may be canceled. Any deposits will be forfeited.
Other Templates: If you have installed other designs on your blog using codes (such as free layouts from other designers), you may need to remove them before I install your design.
Future Design Support: I provide free design support for 14 days after installation. During this time, I'm happy to help you with small changes such as adding gadgets or using the template designer. After 14 days, please contact me for pricing. Revisions and additions are priced on a case-by-case basis depending on the time they will take to complete.
Refunds: Due to the nature of design work, no refunds will be given. Please make sure you understand the conditions of this agreement and design time before paying your deposit. You may contact me with any questions by email.
